The definition is simple. Traveling from one place to another.
It’s also the name of our new ministry, just launching this summer.
The Bigstuf Journey has a metaphorical meaning as well.
It still means traveling from one place to another, but it means it in two ways.
Our Journey is an opportunity for college students to travel from America to Africa.
An opportunity to travel from a life of the ordinary… to a life where perspective changes; to travel from the place of seeing things through the world’s eyes and ending up seeing things though God’s eyes.
Journey is an opportunity for student leaders in college departments to go with us for 4 weeks this summer and set foot on the continent of Africa and team up with other college students from other countries to train together and work together. We get to make a difference in the lives of high school students in Zambia by talking and teaching about abstinence and AIDS. God has been taking Bigstuf on a Journey for a few years now and has provided us the opportunity to do something we never dreamed of.
We have been trusted with students at camp for a while. Now we would like to take them to a new level. We need students that are 18 years old or older and that are ready for a Journey. Be watching our web page over the next few days. (A video plus more details on Journey are coming)
We’d like to move students from where they are to a whole new world and a whole new way of thinking. This summer.
It means raising a lot of money.
It means being gone from June 24-July 17.
And it means coming back changed.
Worth the money.
Worth the time.
Worth their lives!!!
